There is increasing encouragement from the courts for parties in a dispute to use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques such as mediation, arbitration, expert determination and negotiation.

It is generally better to avoid court proceedings, if possible. We will work with you to create a successful outcome through mediation or other means. Sometimes ADR is as an alternative to court action, but it may also be used in conjunction with proceedings.

We are used to dealing with arbitrations and expert determinations concerning technical subject matter, such as construction and IT disputes.
