Lenders will always have accounts that suffer a shortfall. If the shortfall results either wholly or in part from the negligence of a surveyor or lawyer, we call on our specialist Professional Negligence team. We have 25 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of negligence, including negligent advice given by surveyors and solicitors to house purchasers.

We take a proactive approach to each case, collecting all relevant information as quickly as possible in order to produce a full risk assessment. Once we have established the likely outcome of your claim, we advise on the best course of action to take. We then obtain the evidence required and drive the case forward either through the courts or through arbitration or mediation, to achieve the best possible result in the shortest possible time.

We aim to produce a risk free package for the lender in all professional negligence claims, utilising After the Event insurance cover and Conditional Fee Agreements as appropriate, to ensure that our involvement can only improve the lender’s shortfall position.
