Moore Blatch insolvency team recruits home grown talent
A rising demand for insolvency work has led Hampshire based law firm, Moore Blatch, to appoint talented solicitor, Lisa Saxby, to its insolvency team.
With over two year’s specific insolvency experience, Lisa will be based at Moore Blatch’s Southampton office and will assist head of insolvency Mark Osgood.
Working closely with insolvency practitioners, Lisa will provide advice on corporate and personal insolvencies and is also able to deal with disputes on behalf of directors, creditors and debtors individually.
Mark Osgood comments: “Both personal and corporate insolvencies are expected to continue to increase in 2011. This growing demand for insolvency expertise has led to a significant increase in work for the department.
“Lisa is an excellent addition to our team; her experience is ideal for the type of work which we deal with and she will help to grow and develop the service we provide,” said Mark.
Lisa’s insolvency experience includes; unlawful dividend claims against directors and shareholders, possession claims against co-owners, complex bankruptcies involving partnerships and deceased estates, claims against financial institutions as well as company director disqualification proceedings.
Born and raised in Ringwood, Lisa previously trained and worked at two other southern law firms before taking a twenty month sabbatical to travel the world visiting America, the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Whilst in Australia, she worked at prestigious law firm, Clayton Utz.
In her spare time, Lisa is a keen diver and snowboarder and has also recently completed a snowboarding season in New Zealand.
