Moore Blatch strengthens partnership
After announcing a successful financial year at the end of 2010 and celebrating a new office opening in Whiteley at the beginning of this year, Moore Blatch is now pleased to announce six partner promotions across the firm.
Moore Blatch Managing Partner, David Thompson, comments: “The latest promotions reflect the growing strength of our teams who have worked hard to help our business achieve its aims. We are very pleased to confirm these changes and see them as an essential step in the firm’s continued growth and development.”
The appointments, which take the firm to twenty five partners in total, have been announced across a range of teams within the firm including insolvency/professional negligence, property, private client and clinical negligence.
Mark Osgood has been with the firm since 2004 and heads up the professional negligence and insolvency teams. Already a partner with the firm, he has now accepted the invitation to become an equity partner.
Both Marianne Jarvis, a key member of the professional negligence team, and Joyce Bradbeer, a Wills and estate administration specialist, have been promoted from senior solicitor roles to partners.
Mike Wilson, who manages the residential property side of the business becomes a member partner of the firm, having previously been a salaried partner.
Current partner Tim Spring, who leads the firm's highly reputable clinical negligence team and is head of the Richmond office, has also been promoted to member partner of firm. Offering a wealth of knowledge and experience in medical negligence claims, Tim has assisted in identifying new areas of expertise such as industrial disease and education law.
And qualified doctor and lawyer, Anne Cassidy, who also specialises in clinical negligence claims has been promoted to partner within Moore Blatch Resolve LLP.
David concludes: “These promotions reflect the important roles these six individuals have within our firm at present and that they will help to shape the firm of the future.”
