People - Carla Brown
Carla joined the firm in 2009 and became a partner in 2012. She has over 15 years legal experience having worked for Natwest Trust Corporation and firms in Dorset before moving to Moore Blatch.

She has a BA honours degree in Combined Studies from Manchester University, which gave her a broad insight into many different subject areas such as Politics, History, Sociology and Public Policy. She later went on to obtain Post-graduate Diplomas in Law and Legal Practice, the latter passed with Distinction. She is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and the Bournemouth & District Law Society.

Carla has extensive expertise in tax and estate planning, Wills, and provides initial advice on contentious probate and trust issues. She also deals with all aspects of onshore trusts to include planning, creation, administration and winding up.

She is recognised as a leader in the field of private client law in the South of England by independent legal directory Chambers UK 2012.

On a personal level, Carla is a keen golfer and attends her local gym and aerobics classes. She also enjoys walking, reading and travel.
