Mark is a partner who joined Moore Blatch in 2004, as a specialist insolvency and professional negligence solicitor from city firm, Speechly Bircham.

He specialises in all aspects of contentious insolvency, acting for insolvency practitioners, directors or individuals in the commencement of insolvency procedures, the realisation and distribution of assets, investigations and prosecutions and director disqualifications. Mark also has considerable experience in the field of professional negligence, particularly in acting for lenders in claims against solicitors and surveyors.

Since joining the firm, Mark has overseen the expansion of both the insolvency and the professional negligence practices.

Mark is recognised as a leader in the field of restructuring and insolvency in the South by independent legal directory Chambers UK 2012. The directory also states “clients enjoy working with him” because he is “extremely responsive and articulate in his advice”.

Mark is a member of R3 – the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and is on the local R3 committee.
