I am a Partner who leads the Serious Injury team. I specialise in assisting those who have suffered life changing injuries to the brain (adults and children) and spinal cord. I also act for those who have suffered amputation, severe orthopaedic and brachial plexus injuries. I often advise families following fatal accidents. I also specialise in high value overseas claims throughout the EU especially in The Republic of Ireland.  Throughout my career I have also undertake clinical negligence and professional negligence claims.

Often, I initially see clients at major traumas centres, hospitals or rehabilitation units throughout the country. I also see clients at their homes or if is more convenient. I can arrange an appropriate venue close to your home. I am also able to see clients at our offices in London, Richmond and Southampton and have access to meeting rooms in most major cities. We also have facilities to meet client’s in Dublin by prior arrangement.

I deal with multi-million pound litigation, often following motorbike and road traffic accidents. I also deal with severe accidents in public places and the workplace especially when the HSE are involved. I have excellent connections with major rehabilitation units and am an advocate of early rehabilitation, funded by insurers to benefit my clients.

Currently, I am the chair of SEABIF - South of England Acquired Brain Injury Forum and sits on the editorial board of the B21 magazine - for those with brain and spinal cord injury.

I am a Spinal Injuries Association accredited solicitor and undertaken referrals from Child Brain Injury Trust and Headway. I have good connections with hospitals and charities that care for those who have sustained life changing accidents.

Griffiths v Secretary of State for Health [2015] EWHC 1264 (QB) - Spinal Cord Injury

Hughes v Eastwell Manor [2015] (QB) - Stroke following a beauty therapy treatment

Runacres v Mills (QB) - Severe Brain Injury following a road traffic accident

Trebilcock v Delico (QB)  - Fatal Accident

Heaven v Ministry of Justice (QB) -  PTSD claim

High value settlements include:

£6 million for a tetraplegic client

£5.5 million for a severely brain injured client in a road traffic accident

£4 million for a severely brain injured cyclist

£750K fatal accident and dependency claim following the death of a father and husband in a road traffic accident.

£650K for a young motor cyclist who suffered a brachial plexus injury. The claim was settled out of court on a 50/50 basis.

£600K for a builder who suffered a below the knee amputation of his right leg due to sustaining alkali burns while laying a concrete pathway.
