I am a partner and head of the firm’s clinical negligence team, specialising in complex claims involving death and serious neurological injury, including injury arising out of obstetric mis-management.

Before returning to claimant practice, I spent nearly a decade leading a team of lawyers investigating major clinical mishaps for the NHS. I was also course director for the UK’s first university-accredited Diploma in Clinical Risk Management for healthcare professionals.

This gives me a valuable insight into the processes and procedures within healthcare organisations, which informs the expert legal support I give to my clients.

I have a particular interest in ensuring that lessons are learned from individual patient experience within the NHS so that patient care is improved.
