I am a senior solicitor with the firm’s personal injury team, specialising solely in claims relating to asbestos-related disease.
I was a member of the steering committee of the British Lung Foundation’s mesothelioma awareness campaign, contributed to Macmillan Cancer Support’s booklet Understanding Mesothelioma (2010), and wrote the book Asbestos Disease Claims: a Guide for Doctors and Health Care Professionals (2001, Informa).
The first concern my clients and their families have is whether they have a potential claim for compensation and how strong their case is. I make sure they understand clearly how decisions are made and what the legal process will involve.
I want them to feel reassured that the law is there to help them, and to lift the burden of worry from them by securing a fair settlement.
