Successful reorganisation and redundancy programme
We acted for large SME undergoing internal reorganisation, transferring one group company into another. Our client needed help with both planning and implementation and was concerned that the process should not disrupt the day-to-day running of the business. The reorganisation resulted in the need for fewer employees. We helped plan the whole restructuring exercise, including the resulting redundancy strategy, and we advised on the correct procedure to follow. We then helped with the practicalities involved, drafting the relevant correspondence to staff, preparing a script for the consultation meetings and advising on any appeals. By being closely involved, we were able to manage the reorganisation in line with our client’s timetable and with minimal disruption to the business. Our client had the reassurance of knowing that everything was under control and on schedule.
