Bullied employee sues employer for constructive dismissal
A client came to us because he was being bullied by his employers. This had culminated in him being put under pressure to agree detrimental changes to his employment contract. Anxious and stressed, he wanted advice on his rights and how best to respond to the situation. We explained his options to him and prepared a grievance statement, in the hope of resolving the situation, but this failed to improve matters. Our client then resigned, claiming constructive dismissal. We took the case to the Employment Tribunal and won appropriate compensation for our client.
