Moore Blatch saves director from ten year disqualification
Our client had been director of a group of companies which went into liquidation. As a result of the liquidator’s investigation, proceedings were subsequently issued for the disqualification of our client as a company director. The Secretary of State was looking for a significant period of disqualification of more than 10 years. We became involved and put together a highly comprehensive defence, not only dealing with the detailed circumstances of the case but also challenging the ability of the Secretary of State to issue such proceedings. Our client was not disqualified.
