Is your child being bullied at school?

Unfortunately children are bullied and it is a growing concern for many parents. Sometimes schools are unable to tackle the increasing ways in which children are bullied. Developing technology is changing the way our children are bullied. Bullying can cause a child significant distress and is a great worry for parents. Serious consequences may result from a failure to address bullying promptly.

It is often very helpful to keep a log of the incidents contemporaneously, especially because parents should ensure that all complaints of bullying are communicated in writing to the school. We can help you to address the bullying with schools by exhausting the internal complaints procedure and speaking to the school about your concerns.

Once the school have investigated your complaint, they will make a decision. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, there are a number of ways we can address your dissatisfaction. We can pursue the matter further to the Local Authority, the Local Government Ombudsman and/or the Secretary of State.

We can consider further action with a claim in the County Court if necessary.
