Pre and post marital agreements
Many European countries, and others such as America, have for many decades recognised the concept of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
If either of you own foreign assets it is important to seek advice so you are confident that those assets are protected in the event of a divorce and to clearly set out your intentions prior to embarking on the marriage. This can avoid a costly and lengthy process of litigation in multiple jurisdictions should the marriage face difficulties.
Pre- and post- nuptial agreements are considered the norm in other jurisdictions, and will be hugely persuasive when you are going through divorce proceedings in the UK.
We have many years' experience in this area and will always give clear, honest advice.
