Psychological injury at work

Conditions or illness obtained from the workplace do not just apply to physical injuries, but also cover psychological injuries too.

These can include:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder

Psychological injuries vary in severity and at worst they can be life threatening. There are a variety of situations where these type of injuries can occur including:

  • Being involved in or witnessing a distressing accident;

  • Prolonged pressure from employers, including pressure to work harder or longer;

  • Significant and unwarranted changes to your role that you did not want or ask for;

  • Physical scarring and body image issues after an accident at work.

If you have experienced psychological injury at work, you could be entitled to compensation.

Reaching a favourable outcome is of the utmost importance to our personal injury team at Moore Blatch. We utilise a wealth of knowledge, skills and resources to take an assertive stance in advocating for your best interests.
