We have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary/ Paralegal to join our Aspire team in Richmond. Aspire Law is a joint venture between Aspire, the national spinal cord injury charity and Moore Blatch, a leading firm of personal injury solicitors.
Aspire Law acts exclusively for catastrophically injured clients with spinal cord injury. Aspire Law’s portfolio of work is worth many tens of millions of pounds. As a logical, organised and thorough person with excellent attention to detail, you will ensure an accurate and speedy turnaround of work, responding promptly to clients and colleagues.
You will be able to provide high level administrative services to the team, undertaking research, report writing and drafting documentation as required. You will have good communication skills, both written and oral, and be numerate. You will have a capability for proof reading and checking of documentation.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the relevant law practice, and a Law degree or equivalent would be an advantage. This, coupled with high level IT skills in Case Management Systems, Microsoft Office suite and Accounts packages will mean you could be the dedicated addition to our team we are looking for. Whilst not essential some experience of personal injury/clinical negligence claims would be an advantage.
Your normal working hours will be Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, however you will need to be flexible in working outside these hours as the team and business requires. We accept that flexibility works both ways. Moore Blatch offers a competitive benefits package which includes 25 days holiday.
