If your business owns software, patents or know-how and you licence out your technology to other organisations for the purpose of producing goods and services you will need to review your licence agreements to ensure they comply with the new Technology Transfer Block Exemption which came into force on 1 May 2014.
New regulations came into force on 13 June 2014 which apply to contracts made with consumers at a distance, off-premises and on-premises. The new regulations replace the distance and doorstop selling regulations.
