Moore Blatch cyclists raise over £3,800 for Headway South West London
22nd September 2016
On Sunday 4th September 35 cyclists, including friends and family, from leading law firm Moore Blatch (which specialise in supporting individuals with brain injuries) took part in the London to Windsor bike ride challenge, organised by Bike Events raising over £3,800 in aid of Headway South West London (HSWL).
HSWL is a local brain injury charity that has worked for over 30 years to provide assistance, information and services to many of the 135,000 people who suffer brain injury each year and their families and carers.
Trevor Sterling, partner at Moore Blatch and Vice-Chair of Headway South West London comments: “Whilst at times it seemed there was no end in sight we’re delighted and somewhat relieved to have all made it back in one piece, and on time! More importantly HSWL is a much needed charity which is very close to our hearts and we are proud to have been able to raise a significant amount to enable us to support more individuals in need. Thank you to all those who joined our team to make the day a success!’
Chris Brunker, Chair of HSWL said: ‘As a small charity, our funds are limited so we are thankful for Moore Blatch’s support, and of course the money raised.’
