Partner, Asset Recovery - Head of professional negligence
Area of Expertise
- Asset recovery - professional negligence
I am a partner in the firm’s professional negligence team, running the day to day operation of the professional negligence team for lender services. I work mainly on behalf of lender clients, dealing with professional negligence actions, complex/title rectification claims, and mortgage fraud.
My clients want pragmatic legal advice that will help them secure the appropriate compensation for their financial loss.
We often pursue claims with insurance companies on behalf of our clients. This demands resilience, excellent attention to detail and sound commercial judgement. It also requires the ability to assess quickly what the best course of action is in a particular situation.
We have built up a strong team of experts specifically with this in mind. We combine an expert knowledge of the law with vast practical experience in professional negligence, which gives our clients the peace of mind that they are working with the best.

"Practice head Rob Evans is noted for his 'superb advice - he works exceptionally hard to achieve successful outcomes in complex cases'. Evans has particular expertise in claims arising from tax mitigation schedule, financial mis-selling, and matrimonial proceedings. His recent work includes acting in a claim arising from negligent advice by the client's former solicitors during their divorce proceedings." Legal 500
