Dr Mala Sidebottom
I joined Moore Blatch in 2015 and am a dual qualified solicitor and medical doctor working in the clinical negligence department. Prior to joining Moore Blatch, I practised clinical negligence at Leigh Day for over 10 years.
I successfully recover substantial amounts of compensation for people who have suffered injury as a result of medical negligence and also represent clients at inquests where family members have died due to substandard medical care.
Typically I represent clients who have suffered a broad range of medical injuries, including brain and spinal injuries, infectious diseases, ENT, surgical and orthopaedic injury.
I have a particular interest in, and specialist knowledge of urology claims and birth injury claims, including cerebral palsy.
Before training as a solicitor, I was a qualified medical doctor and practised as an anaesthetist. I have regularly been invited to speak to medical and legal students on issues that affect their professions.
