I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and have always specialised in private client work. I have worked in various firms both in Central and West London. I have lived locally for over 20 years and have strong connections in the West London/Surrey area. I joined Moore Blatch Richmond office in 2017.
My expertise lies in assisting private clients to organise their personal affairs, giving them the peace of mind that all is in order should they become unable to make decisions due to mental incapacity through accident, illness or old age or at the end of their life. I act for people from all walks of life, including high net worth individuals, small business owners and church and charity workers.
I specialise in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (and Enduring Powers of Attorney), Trusts, Probate and Inheritance Tax planning. I also have extensive experience in Court of Protection work for the elderly and brain injury clients, including deputyship applications and administration, statutory wills and various general applications to the Court.
I like to keep matters as straight forward as possible, helping my clients to navigate the complexities of private client law and tax. I deal with bereaved and elderly clients, often meeting them at their home. I also undertake hospital and nursing home visits to those who are less mobile.
I am married with three school age children and so spend much of my time outside work attending school and sports events. I enjoy theatre, especially Shakespeare, opera and live music. I am a Londoner born and bred and love the opportunities of living in the city. I am an active member of my Anglican church and have served as church warden several times. I have volunteered as a Debt Advisor and helped with fundraising.
