I am a trainee solicitor with Moore Blatch. I joined Moore Blatch in September 2014 and specialised in rural property and rural land development transactions, acting for high net worth individuals, landed estates, landowners and developers in various matters.
My training contract is based on a number of six monthly training periods whereby I work with one team for a full six months before moving onto the next. I change teams twice a year, in the first week of March and the first week of September.
By working in different teams I gain valuable experience in several areas of law. Whilst each area is usually very different from the next, one thing remains the same - the high level of service that we are all expected to deliver to you, the client.
The nature of my work varies, depending on the team or department. Generally speaking, I support the other fee-earners in their work, but in some teams, with the appropriate level of supervision, I am given the responsibility of dealing with clients directly.
Whether working directly with clients or within a team ‘behind the scenes’, it’s my job to demonstrate that I am well organised, efficient and able to provide a prompt, friendly and reliable service to clients and colleagues alike.
