How Moore Blatch successfully argued that our client, who was not married, was entitled to an equal share of the £1m family home
I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and joined Moore Blatch as an Associate in September 2018 from a Westminster practice, having previously worked in firms in Newcastle upon Tyne, Bristol and London.
I am an experienced private client lawyer running a full and varied caseload. I pride myself in providing an empathetic, caring and personalised service while explaining technical points of law in a straightforward way, seeking to find practical solutions to the issues presented.
My specialism is predominantly in dealing with complex technical probate matters, estate planning and trusts. I act for a wide range of clients, including high and ultra high net worth clients, business owners and have worked with families spanning several generations.
Clients often come to private client lawyers at very difficult points in their lives, and I aim to help clients to resolve matters as efficiently, effectively and sensitively as possible. Wherever possible, I also encourage clients to start their estate planning early and keep this under review, looking at all aspects of their lives as a whole, so that they are prepared for all eventualities.
My interests include theatre (especially Shakespeare), baking and floristry.
