Title rectification

Having the title of the property and charge on the land recorded correctly on a mortgage agreement is paramount.

If there any issues, we can investigate and get these rectified quickly so properties in your portfolio are accurately recorded or the sale of a repossessed property moves along smoothly.

If your customers are looking to re-develop land, we can advise on what land is available and check whether there are any rights of way or access issues.

Correcting titles and charges on the land

Sometimes titles are not recorded properly at the point of sale or there are issues that we need to investigate before a property sale can go through. We will find out what land you have charge over as part of the mortgage agreement and make any corrections that are necessary.

We also pass any concerns we have to our professional negligence team [link] if we feel there is reason to believe a previous solicitor or surveyor mis-recorded information.

Working in partnership to offer a complete legal solution for lenders

We often work very closely with other teams at Moore Blatch to provide a comprehensive package of legal services for banks, investors and lenders that covers all aspects of real estate and asset recovery:

Standard reviews

We set the bar high and have exceptional standards that we strive to meet. Your case will be regularly reviewed to ensure it is moving along to plan. When we work with lenders and banks we undertake reviews of our service level agreements (SLAs) on a regular basis, and very often exceed what has been agreed.
