- Residential Sales and Purchases (Leasehold and Freehold)
- Right to Buy
- Help to Buy
I started working in residential property in 2002 after completing my Law degree. I have spent most of my time working in the Hampshire area but have dealt with residential properties ranging from Newcastle down to the Isle of Wight.
My clients range from first time buyers in their early 20’s to those in later life who are looking to downsize, Investors, Landlords, Companies and private individuals.
Buying or selling a property can be a daunting experience for a lot of people and I try to take out as much of the worry as I can. With the large amount of paperwork that has to be completed or read, it can be overwhelming if a client has not done it before or has not moved home in 20 years. I try to provide as much help as possible to take the stress out of the transaction.
I am a regular gym goer and while my playing days are unfortunately over, I still try to watch as much rugby as I can. As my wife is Italian I am trying to learn the language.
- Collective enfranchisement
- House enfranchisement
- Lease extensions
- Right to manage
- Right of first refusal (pre-emption rights)
I advise clients on all matters linked to leasehold flats and houses.
My clients are residential landlords, intermediate landlords and tenants. I help them navigate their way through the legal and legislative complexities linked to leasehold flats and houses.
Having a ‘can do’ attitude, my clients can rely on me to be friendly and approachable. I take a direct approach, telling clients not what they want to hear but the reality of their situation given their circumstances and related legal position. Listening to their concerns, I offer practical advice and work hard to achieve the best possible outcomes on their behalf.
I advise clients on:
- Collective enfranchisement – acquiring or disposing of the freehold pursuant to legislative rights
- House enfranchisement – acquiring or disposing of the freehold pursuant to legislative rights
- Lease extensions – individual or multiple, whether voluntary or exercising statutory rights
- Right to manage – tenants acquiring the management of their building or landlords responding to a right to manage claim
- Right of first refusal (pre-emption rights) in relation to the freehold or intermediate interests
I joined Moored Blatch in 2018.
I have recently taken up Tai Chi classes for relaxation. I have two small dogs that keep me on my toes with their playful ways and need for walks. I love food but tend to partake more in the eating rather than the cooking.
